Between these 2 historic landmarks, just a short tube ride from the aparthotel lies the millenium bridge. Linking ancient and new its a stunning piece of modern architecture as well as a very functional route across the river Thames. Famous for its wobble the bridge when first built moved from side to side in time with pedestrians footsteps. When there was a crowd it was going sideways by 7 cm. Now corrected and stable its makes two of Londons best sights easy to walk around at your leisure.

Mansion House The Lord Mayor's Residence

Being in Middlesex St Parklane-City Apartments are close to a multitude of historic sights. We highly recommend a tour of Mansion House whilst your here. Built as a home for the Lord Mayor of the City of London. It's a Georgian palace and stunningly beautiful inside.
Its full of historic paintings, ancient artefacts and the Elizabethen sword the Queen opened the Royal Exchange with in 1571.

Location, next to bank tube, tours only on tuesdays at 2pm but worth it.
